How It Works

The first step is to create an account. It is free and takes only a few minutes. Your portfolio can contain college courses; college level exams such as CLEP, AP, DSST.; professional certifications; military and civilian experience, etc. Building a portfolio that contains both prior learning and work/volunteer experiences allows you to take advantage of all of the features of the Career Bridge portal . You can assess your learning, experience and certifications for credits, create a resume, and easily share your portfolio through College Connect with Peirce College advisors and begin to build a pathway to your next career.

Once you create your portfolio, you will be able to estimate your transfer credits, including credits earned at other regionally accredited colleges and universities, credits awarded for professional and military training, and credits earned via CLEP®, DSST® exams and alternative course providers like Study.com, Sophia.org, StraighterLine.com, and Onlinedegree.com. You will be able to load your previous courses and other sources of credit into the system, and veterans and active duty service members can upload a Joint Service Transcript (JST).

Your next step is selecting a career. The portal will show you the credentials, certifications and skills required for in-demand occupations, as well as information on median average salaries and job opportunities in the Philadelphia region. When you select a career, you will be able to see how your transfer credits apply to various academic programs at Peirce College, especially those aligned with careers you selected.
