Peirce College

Peirce College's ACBSP-accredited Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree program will prepare students for employment in accounting firms, businesses, nonprofits, and government. Technical competence and critical thinking skills obtained in this program can lead to a challenging and exciting career in public or private accounting. Graduates from this accounting major will be well prepared for graduate study in accounting, business, and finance.

Outcomes

Upon successful completion of this program, graduates will be able to: Apply generally accepted accounting principles in preparing financial statements for use in business decision making, integrate knowledge of accounting with information technology in the development of financial decisions, apply appropriate research methods to the analysis of accounting and financial issues and communicate recommendations, Work in teams to complete projects and solve problems, assess ethical issues in economic competition and organizational management, and make recommendations for resolutions.
